Our certified sets are manufactured in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. The Celsius set, ASTM 62C through ASTM 70C, covers a range of -38°C to 405° C. The Farenheit set, ASTM 62°F through ASTM 70°F, covers a range of -36° to 761°F. Each set consists of nine thermometers, which are each handblown, individually engraved, etched, and calibrated for total immersion against standards certified by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

Each thermometer is certified at the five ASTM verification temperatures specified in ASTM E-1. Our certificates are designed to show all corrections to the nearest tenth of the smallest scale division of each

thermometer. Each thermometer has an ice-point which can be used to check the validity of the corrections at any time. This is done by taking the ice point reading and applying any change to the corrections on the scale. It is important to note that pursuant to N.I.S.T. Publication #NIST/SP-819 dated August 1991, ANY PREVIOUSLY CERTIFIED THERMOMETER WITH A CALIBRATED ICE POINT NEED NEVER BE COMPLETELY RE-CALIBRATED. Our complete set comes to you in a leatherette plush-lined channel case with inside pull-down section to hold certificates. These cases provide convienience and safe-storage for these important calibrating instruments. Of course, individual replacement thermometers are always available.
